PADI Bubblemaker
- Age: 8 and 9
- Equipment: Full Dive Kit Included
- Price: US$50
- Duration: 1 Hour
The PADI Bubblemaker program is for younger
kids who want to experience the thrill of
the underwater world. It introduces
kids from as young as 8 years old to diving
in a swimming pool, under the direct
supervision of one of our PADI Instructors.
Sign your kids up today, and they'll not
only receive a cool certificate but also a
certification card, just like a scuba diver.
The course takes approximately one hour, of
which thirty minutes will be spent in the
swimming pool. The time in the pool
will introduce the kids to a few simple
scuba diving skills, and then taking their
first steps underwater, up to a maximum
depth of 2 metres (6 feet).
PADI Seal Team
- Age: 8 and 9
- Equipment: Full Dive Kit Included
- Price: US$150
- Duration: 1-2 Half Days
The PADI Seal Team has been especially
developed for children. Any child of 8
years and over may participate. The
whole program is conducted in a swimming
pool.
Although only in a swimming pool, children
learn the true aspects of scuba diving.
The skills learned in the sessions can be
counted towards the full PADI Open Water
Diver course should they continue on to it
when old enough.
The course is structured into a series of
sessions called 'Aqua Missions'. Each
'Aqua Mission' teaches new skills.
Whilst the emphasis is on fun, there is
still some serious learning to be done.
Once a child has completed the core 'Aqua
Missions' they become a member of the PADI
Seal Team and are given a wall certificate
and certification card to show their family
and friends. They also have their own
personal logbooks where they can write their
experiences along with puzzles and other
games.
Once they enrol on the program, they will
receive their crew pack which contains their
logbook, and watch a video which they do before
each 'Aqua Mission'. The whole course
is based around 5 cartoon characters which
help the children learn the knowledge
required.
Once they become a 'PADI Seal', the
adventure doesn't stop there. They can
then complete another 15 special 'Aqua
Missions' and become a 'PADI Master Seal'.
These special 'Aqua Missions' include
photography, night diving and wreck diving,
all done in the safety of a swimming pool.
This is a great fun course which all
children will enjoy.
